Four Months!!!

As you can see there's budding, there's looseness in places...the color is fading in a yucky way...but overall I'm happy with everything but the color. Which I'll be fixing next month because hubby is a punk and does do hair dye.

I Found It I Found It!!!!!!!!!

I found my Brown Sugar Pomade!!!! I retightened my roots and oh it was SO much easier. They're looking good except for they're blotchy because I'm low on purple. Again. Grr.

Big Decision About Color

So they're purple right now. And it's a lot more upkeep than I thought. Well that's not true. I knew a lot of upkeep was involved I just thought it'd be quicker and easier than it actually has turned out to be.


So I'm not going to be bleaching my roots. I will continue to keep the purple fresh but at some point I will be cutting them off so they'll be just my regular plain color.

Getting a Puppy!!!!

It's not the most practical choice right now but for health reasons...I need this. I'm SO excited!!!!

Really annoying

The whole no clips thing. Not all of them stayed and then I had a hard time figuring out which ones were done. It's definitely not something you can get the hang of in one go.

Sigh

So it's time for some maintenance right? I can't find any of my pomades to do it and I can't afford more right now. And on top of that I can't find my clips. (But I'm gonna try this technique and see where it gets me: http://www.youtube.com/user/chescalocs#p/u/2/4XvczjqXemI)

Honestly I'm tired and I'd like to just go get them done but even if that were affordable I had a HORRIBLE experience with a loctician and now I'm scurred. What all went wrong? Let's see....

• Didn't tell me they didn't take cash until after I had my service done.
• Really far far away from me
• She was kinda pushy and not really open to working with ME on MY hair
• Wouldn't tell me what was in her special product that she used to tighten my locs
• Had me under a REALLY hot fucking dryer
• I ended up with blisters on my scalp...I can't be sure if it's from the hot heat (that I kept ducking) or her shea blend since she wouldn't tell me what was in it

So...yeah. That's how I feel. So I'm going to be tightening them myself. When I find some kind of product. (My husband packed up our stuff while I was in the hospital and didn't mark any of the boxes.) While I'm looking for the product I've got some Manic Panic in my head. It's just UltraViolet. Normally I mix a touch of red in there but it ain't in the budget so...yeah. Pics later? Pics later.

My Hair and I have hit the skids

Well not really. I feel even more confirmed about locing my hair. But right now my hair looks like crap. It bugs me but not too badly because I FEEL like crap.


I had a nervous breakdown and had to go to the hospital. I'm feeling better but I look frightful. All of my stuff is in a storage unit and I'm just waiting until we close on our house to find my products and put my hair back to lookin' right.
